Job summary

UKG is seeking a Principal, Planning Process to design and lead the company’s integrated enterprise planning process, connecting long-range planning with annual planning and in-year execution. You will partner with Corp FP&A to align investments and resources through one operating rhythm.

You will guide cross-functional planning discussions, develop templates and decision criteria, and deliver executive-ready materials for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise strategy, enterprise planning, business operations, or strategic finance in a SaaS company.
• Experience leading complex, enterprise-wide planning cycles and coordinating inputs across functions.
• Experience connecting long-range planning, annual planning, portfolio prioritization, and in-year performance management within tech/SaaS.
• Ability to influence outcomes in a matrixed organization with strategic thinking and executive presence.
• Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems, model scenarios, and develop recommendations.
• Experience creating concise executive-ready materials translating inputs into insights for leaders.
• Proven track record collaborating with Corp FP&A and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Excel modeling and data analytics.
• Experience with planning workflow tools to improve decision quality and adoption.
• MBA preferred; consulting background is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and lead UKG's end-to-end enterprise planning process, governance, milestones, and decision points.
• Translate priorities into planning frameworks, templates, and analytical requirements.
• Analyze functional and product plans, identify inter-dependencies, and surface risks for investment decisions.
• Create executive-ready presentations and concise recommendations for senior leaders.
• Facilitate cross-functional planning sessions and document outcomes and owners.
• Continuously improve planning processes, tools, and measures with stakeholder feedback.
