Ford Motor Company is seeking a Principal Engineer/Architect to lead the technical vision for Ford Pro Intelligence SaaS platforms. You will design data-intensive applications, guide API services, and frontend work across multiple teams in a high-scale SaaS environment.

You will mentor engineers, shape product strategy with Design and Business leaders, and drive architectural patterns that improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent experience.
12+ years software engineering with leadership and architecture.
5+ years building scalable data-intensive web apps and SaaS.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, and drive the technical roadmap for large-scale SaaS apps.
Mentor engineers and promote technical excellence across teams.
Translate business needs into scalable architectural designs.
Scope, estimate, and blueprint complex enterprise initiatives.
Lead hands-on development of core architectural components.
Improve efficiency with new tooling and patterns.
Act as escalation point for critical incidents and RCA.
