Job Summary

The Principal Product Validation Engineer will lead and contribute to productization of our revolutionary timing devices. In this highly visible role, we are looking for passionate, self-starters who can work cross-functionally to ensure system-level performance of our products and help solve the world's toughest timing problems. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position.

Responsibilities

• Grow and lead a team of engineers responsible for validation, characterization, and release-to-production of MEMS-based timing products
• Interface with cross-functional teams, vendors, and manage projects across different sites
• Plan and execute device verification and characterization
• Work with MEMS and circuit design teams to evaluate new silicon and recommend design improvements for enhanced performance
• Design, develop, and validate PCB test platforms and firmware to enable automated data acquisition and analysis
• Develop and transfer algorithms to final test and production environments
• Perform engineering failure analysis to root cause product issues
• Innovate and prototype system architectures and new technologies for next- generation products

Qualifications & Requirements

• MS or PhD in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Exceptional candidates with other backgrounds will be considered
• 10+ years of experience in the productization of semiconductor sensor-based devices
• Experience leading engineering project teams and creating and executing verification and characterization plans
• Strong, fundamental knowledge of mixed signal circuits
• Hands-on experience with electronics lab instrumentation. Prior experience with metrology systems for evaluating timing parameters is preferred but not required
• Excellent programming skills and prior experience with MATLAB and/or Python
• Strong statistical analysis skills

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this role is $148,320.00 to $203,940.00. The final offer is determined by factors such as location, experience, education, and training.

In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a quarterly bonus tied to the achievement of innovation goals, reflecting our commitment to recognizing meaningful impact. We also offer equity grants, providing a meaningful opportunity to share in the company's future growth and success.
