Job summary

Louisville Gas and Electric Company seeks an electrical engineer at the Trimble County Generating Station. You will work on a variety of projects, perform inspections, troubleshoot equipment, and help develop future work plans that improve reliability and maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

Identifies opportunities to improve plant equipment availability and reliability.
Performs engineering assignments related to design, construction, performance, operation, and maintenance of plant equipment and systems.
Manages full scope of Capital and O&M projects including safety, schedule, budget, and scope; provides tracking and status updates to management and budget analysts.
Prepares and presents reports for system reliability, compliance and related engineering activities.
Proposes, justifies and manages installation of equipment, structures and devices to meet company goals.
Interacts with other departments regarding reliability compliance issues and supports risk management and procurement processes.
