Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a Modeling and Simulation Principal Engineer to lead the Dynamic Simulation Lab's initiatives. The role focuses on defining strategies, leading projects, and expanding modeling capabilities within the AI & Innovation group.

You will report to the Modeling & Simulation Manager and work a hybrid schedule based in Cranberry, PA, engaging across Westinghouse teams and external collaborations to advance nuclear simulation capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in modeling and simulation.
• MSc in Engineering or related discipline; CFD/Nuclear Eng experience.
• Experience with advanced simulations and ML or data analysis.
• Strong understanding of nuclear industry simulations and networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead specific projects within the Dynamic Simulation Lab.
• Collaborate with Westinghouse teams to address modeling needs.
• Follow and advance simulation activities in nuclear and related areas.
• Introduce AI/ML to improve workflows and product optimization.
