Jobtailor is seeking a highly accomplished Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt to lead enterprise-wide quality and operational excellence across electronics assembly and high-volume manufacturing. You will drive transformation initiatives, build smart factory capabilities, and ensure excellence through data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

  • 10–15 years of experience in high-volume, high-complexity manufacturing.
  • At least 5 years in leadership or transformation roles (not necessarily people management).
  • Demonstrated expertise in regression analysis, correlation analysis, DOE, SPC, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, and commonality studies.
  • Proficiency with Minitab, JMP, Python, R, SQL, or equivalent tools.
  • Track record of measurable improvements in yield, reliability, or process robustness.
  • Excellent communication skills with executive and technical audiences.
  • Background in electronics assembly, PCBA, servers, or other high-reliability industries.
  • Experience coaching or mentoring technical teams in data-driven decision-making.
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
  • MBA or exposure to business, finance, or economics is advantageous.
  • Eligibility for applicable U.S. export-control requirements, if required for the position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide quality and operational excellence initiatives across high-volume manufacturing.
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain customer delivery, cost efficiency, and process metrics.
  • Lead or contribute to transformation initiatives involving manufacturing risk analysis, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Define and implement systems, processes, and frameworks supporting the smart factory vision.
  • Apply automation, metrology, advanced inspection and testing, and predictive analytics.
  • Generate insights from data-rich environments to improve yield, reliability, and throughput.
  • Collaborate with design, quality, manufacturing, test, and supplier engineering teams.
  • Apply advanced statistical and analytical methods to identify, quantify, and control manufacturing risk.
  • Translate DFM and PFMEA outputs into proactive process controls.
  • Coach and mentor Black Belts and Green Belts.
  • Foster data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Lead cross-functional teams resolving complex operational issues.
  • Define, monitor, and analyze operational and quality metrics.
  • Establish and standardize Lean Six Sigma methodologies and best practices.
