CFD Research is seeking a Principal Engineer to provide technical leadership on high-speed/supersonic/hypersonic testing. The role covers ground testing, propulsion, fluid dynamics, and high-temperature flow, with work on hardware development and prototyping in Hollywood, AL.

Lead teams across disciplines and guide programs while ensuring engineering excellence. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of related experience, a strong background in CFD/FEA, and the ability to mentor

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related field (MS preferred).
• 10+ years of high-speed/supersonic/hypersonic testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of ground test, propulsion, fluid dynamics, high temperature flow, and high-speed systems/sub‑systems.
• Proven ability to lead teams and mentor engineers.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
