  • Execute testing, monitor tests per specification, troubleshoot, and document all test activities
  • Demonstrate the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks across multi-discipline teams
  • Understand Northrop Grumman test engineering practices, standards, and principles
  • Understand both electrical circuits and software interaction within flight hardware and EGSE
  • Support EGSE and flight hardware test/troubleshooting efforts with ability to perform independently
  • Fully grasp escalation processes when test errors are encountered, following program-specific protocols
  • Participate in anomaly resolution processes and contribute technical solutions for FRB approval
  • Travel and support alternate shifts when required
  • Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity
  • Apply technical insight and experience to validate test setups and results
  • Establish and maintain inter-organizational and outside customer contacts on routine matters
  • Coordinate with ITEE team leads, electrical technicians, and I&T managers to complete test activities
  • Prepare and present material in program review boards (PDRs, CDRs, TRRs, FRBs, etc.)
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline, preferably in electrical or computer engineering (or equivalent) with 5 years of related engineering experience; OR a master’s degree with 3 years of related engineering experience
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and refine scripting and automation solutions using languages such as Python, Java, or VHDL
  • Strong experience working with Linux systems, simulation tools, and spacecraft command and telemetry environments
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI security clearance & special program access
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio, National Instruments LabView, or equivalent simulation and documentation tools
  • Experience developing and executing hardware or software testing and test scripting
  • Minimum of five years of directly related experience in spacecraft or satellite system test
  • Demonstrated expertise with electrical test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, DMMs, and signal generators
  • Experience in electronics troubleshooting, RF test configuration testing, and environmental testing (including Vibration Analysis/Thermal Vacuum testing)
  • Programming proficiency with Python, C, C++, or VHDL
