Position Overview

As the VP Engineering in Mobile AI at MoodMe, you will be the technical expert and key contributor

to our mobile AI and AR product development. This role is all about harnessing the potential of AI and AR

technologies to create emotional insights from user & customer experiences. You will work closely with our CEO, CTO and CPO to ensure the technical excellence of our products and make our vision a reality.

We ask for a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week we prefer full time).

Key Responsibilities

• Drive technical excellence in the design, development, and optimization of mobile face AI and AR

applications and underlying SDKs, which are our core products.

• Lead the development and enhancement of MoodMe's mobile AI and AR products, taking hands-on

charge of the full software development life cycle.

• Stay on the cutting edge of AI and AR technologies and find innovative ways to implement them in our

products.

• Ensure high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code is delivered, upholding best practices in software

• Provide guidance to the software engineering team, mentor junior engineers, and share your expertise

in mobile & web AI and AR.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to bring new

features from concept to launch.

• Solve complex technical challenges related to mobile AI and AR to provide the best user experience.

• Continuously enhance and optimize existing mobile AI and AR features based on user feedback and

data.

• Stay updated on technology trends and best practices, taking the initiative in thought leadership,

innovation, and creativity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience, minimum of 6 years, in software development with a focus on mobile AI and AR

technologies in a fast-growing company, preferrably Venture Backed Series A.

• Strong knowledge of mobile application development (iOS and Android) and frameworks, including

ARKit, ARCore, and CoreML.

• Expertise in computer vision, machine learning, and AI algorithms with practical application in mobile

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift, Java, or Kotlin, and proficiency with relevant

development tools and IDEs.

• A strong portfolio of mobile AI and AR projects and applications showcasing your technical skills and

innovative solutions.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to analyze and optimize performance.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work within cross-functional teams.

• Passion for delivering AI products that exceed customer expectations, focusing on quality and speed.

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, efficiently prioritizing and managing tasks and

projects.

• An empathetic, collaborative, and adaptable leader fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation.

• Global mindset with an understanding of international markets and industry trends.
