Job summary

Niuro in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Principal Engineer, Customer Quality to own the end-to-end customer quality lifecycle, drive corrective actions, and lead onsite audits. You will coordinate with failure analysis, product engineering, and cross-functional teams to sustain strong customer relationships and improve reliability metrics.

The role requires 10+ years in semiconductor quality, deep expertise in 8D/PPAP/FMEA/APQP/SPC, and hands-on wafer fab/packaging experience, with English at C2

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a customer, manufacturing, or supplier quality role within the semiconductor industry.
• Proficient in 8D, Fishbone, 5-Why, and Is/Is-Not problem solving.
• Strong command of English (C2) and BS degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience with wafer fabrication, package assembly, and testing.
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara, CA.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate investigation of customer complaints with failure analysis and product engineering.
• Lead quality events to ensure global alignment and manage customer relationships.
• Review and submit customer documentation including PPAP, 8D, and reports.
• Coordinate customer quality activities such as RFIs and audits.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve customer scorecards.
• Conduct proactive visits to customer and factory sites as required.
