Job summary

Kawasaki is seeking a Quality Engineer III in San Jose, CA who will lead end-to-end quality initiatives across engineering, manufacturing and product support to improve processes and product reliability.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 5-7 years in quality engineering, with strong experience in robotics or semiconductor equipment and expertise in GR&R, HALT, HASS, ESD, EMC and ISTA testing. On-site work and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 5-7 years experience in quality engineering.
• Robotics and/or semiconductor equipment exposure.
• Strong knowledge of reliability modeling and apportionment.
• Proficiency with instrumentation and data collection tools.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Drives product and process quality to ensure high-quality products for customers.
• Investigates failures, determines root causes, plans containment and corrective actions.
• Collaborates with engineering, program management and supply chain on defect resolution.
• Performs data analysis and presents findings.
• Conducts internal and external factory audits.
• Implements and supports continuous process improvements.
