Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Principal Engineer to drive platform acceleration and AI-native experiences across web and mobile. You will mentor tech leads, shape architectural roadmaps, and deliver reusable platform designs for Google Cloud products.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align API/data models and translate constraints into durable technical solutions with long-term impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience as a Software Engineering leader with experience in full stack web development.
• Experience in web, mobile, and SDK/CLI development.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-year roadmap and align on investments for Cloud Surfaces experiences.
• Create scalable, secure designs for internal platform stakeholders and AI-powered UI.
• Mentor senior tech leaders and foster a culture of engineering growth.
