Relias is seeking a Principal Engineer to drive technological excellence across multiple teams. You will shape strategic direction, mentor engineers, and champion best practices in software development. Deep expertise in Azure, GCP, and microservices is required to align tech with business goals.

You will lead architectural initiatives, collaborate cross-functionally, and push for continuous improvement in processes and tooling to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 6+ years with modern object-oriented languages, especially C#.
• 3+ years as technical lead or senior engineer guiding a team.
• 4+ years in cloud environments, Azure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead microservices architectures for scalability and resilience.
• Serve as technical authority, mentoring engineers at all levels.
• Drive innovation by adopting emerging technologies and practices.
• Collaborate with product, operations and stakeholders on solutions.
• Ensure code quality through reviews and best practices.
• Identify and drive process improvements in development tooling.
