Teradata seeks a hands-on Principal Engineer to lead innovation in Agentic AI, designing secure, scalable agent frameworks and orchestrating LLM pipelines for enterprise deployments. You’ll work with researchers, platform teams, and product managers to build observability and safety into production-grade AI agents.

You will drive multi-agent coordination, memory management, and extensibility across Teradata’s AI platform, shaping the future of enterprise AI from the ground up.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
Experience with AI agents and safe deployment at scale
Strong systems engineering and AI orchestration knowledge

Responsibilities

Architect foundational components for production-grade AI systems, including agent frameworks and LLM pipelines
Define and lead the agent management roadmap (discovery, provisioning, orchestration)
Ensure secure by design agents with governance and guardrails
Collaborate with researchers, platform engineers, and product managers to deploy agentic capabilities
