Qualifications

• 12+ years of software/platform engineering or data science experience with 3+ years in leadership roles overseeing AI initiatives.
• Proven experience scaling distributed systems or cloud platforms in production.
• Strong backend, APIs, infrastructure, or platform-architecture background.
• Hands-on with AI/ML platforms, LLM integrations, data science methodologies.
• Experience with vector databases, semantic search, feature stores, and end-to-end pipelines.
• Track record delivering large cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent communication with executives, researchers, and engineers.
• Passion for autonomous, data-science-powered software at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and data science roadmap for the AI Platform, ensuring scalability and reliable LLM integration.
• Collaborate with product, data science, research and engineering to define requirements for predictive modeling, memory, planning and multi-agent work.
• Design and implement core services including API gateways, vector stores, RAG pipelines and experimentation frameworks.
• Coordinate third-party tool integrations and internal data services for scalable agent execution.
• Guide cloud-native practices, observability, security, and best-practice software engineering.
• Mentor and grow backend engineers, data scientists, and AI platform specialists.
• Align platform capabilities with evolving AI product needs and downstream applications.
• Promote code quality, reliability practices and cross-functional collaboration.
• Contribute to long-term strategy of agentic workflows using data science and ML.
