Schonfeld is looking for a technologist to join its Reference Data Technology team in New York, focusing on building systems that manage reference and master data for various financial domains.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in OO development, particularly in Java, and expertise in the design of microservices and generative AI technologies. A competitive salary compensation package is offered, reflecting the candidate’s skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Min 7 years in financial services/hedge funds.
• Min 3 years supporting listed and OTC instruments.
• Knowledge of financial markets and data management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data systems for critical business functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to solve business challenges.
• Enhance technology stack with modern microservices and cloud solutions.

Skills

OO development experience (Java preferred)

Design and architecture of microservices

Generative AI application

Relational and in-memory databases (Postgres / SingleStore preferred)

Messaging systems (Kafka preferred)
