Job summary

Schonfeld is seeking a highly qualified technologist to join its Reference Data Technology team. The Reference Data Management group builds a centralized golden source of reference and master data used across trading, risk, accounting and operations.

You will lead architecture and development of scalable microservices on AWS, mentor engineers, collaborate with stakeholders, and advance firmwide data frameworks while applying AI-driven approaches to improve delivery and decision making.

Qualifications

• Seven years in financial services/hedge funds preferred.
• Seven years of OO development with Java strongly preferred.
• Experience with relational and in-memory databases (Postgres / SingleStore).
• Experience building scalable microservices and cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support scalable systems providing golden data sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Lead architecture decisions and drive reliable, secure delivery.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to firmwide data frameworks.
• Own end-to-end delivery of strategic, cross-functional projects.
