Job summary

Huntress, a remote-first cybersecurity company, is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead the Agentic SOC project. You will own the system architecture for an LLM-driven investigation agent that ingests telemetry, correlates signals, and delivers a well-documented verdict across thousands of customer environments.

You’ll mentor engineers, partner with SOC analysts and product teams, and ensure the platform scales with reliability while maintaining security and auditability.

Qualifications

• 15+ years building complex software systems.
• Hands-on experience with production LLM-based agents.
• Experience designing for multi-tenant isolation and auditability.
• BS or MS in CS or engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own the Agentic SOC architecture and direction.
• Develop agents that assist SOC analysts and automate investigations.
• Build AI-driven pre-processing for tools and data sources.
• Ensure security, reliability, and scalable performance.
