GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Wyoming Military Department (WYMD) Construction and Facilities Management Office (CFMO) is seeking a Principal Engineer for our design and project management program in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This position is responsible for project management of all projects assigned from conceptual design through completion of construction, record finalization, and construction warranty period. Typical projects range in size and complexity from $250,000 to $25 million. Our design-build construction projects range in variety: asphaltic and concrete pavement rehabilitation, underground utility, new commercial building construction, remodeling of existing commercial buildings, HVAC, and electrical upgrades.
The CFMO is responsible for all design and construction projects for Army National Guard facilities throughout Wyoming, including Camp Guernsey. We construct and maintain the facilities that Army National Guard soldiers train in so they can be ready to respond to any natural disaster or national emergency in Wyoming’s communities or anywhere worldwide.

KNOWLEDGE:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's Degree (in Engineering)
Experience: 2-4 years of progressive work experience (in Engineering) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Project Engineer
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Professional Engineer's (PE) License Required at time of hire - (Wyoming PE required within six months of hire date.)
