Job summary

Jobtailor in Jacksonville, FL seeks an senior backend engineer with deep Java/Spring expertise to design and deliver scalable systems. You will work on enterprise-grade SaaS products, microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud deployments on AWS/GCP, while collaborating with Product and Technology teams.

You will review code, apply Agile practices, and mentor offshore engineers, tackling complex problems and driving best practices across the full software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of back-end development with Java, Spring and distributed systems.
• 3+ years of UI development experience.
• Expertise in database design and optimization techniques.
• Experience building microservices architectures and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SaaS and multitenant solutions.
• Cloud experience, preferably AWS and/or GCP.
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, multithreading, OOP.
• Ownership mindset and proactive collaboration.
• English fluency as applicable
