We are seeking an experienced backend engineer to join our Middle Office Core Platform Organization.

This team owns systems, services, and initiatives to provide financial products to our customers across digital channels. The organization is responsible for building financial products, platform capabilities, and components used by millions of customers daily. As a senior backend engineer, you will drive product development and modernization initiatives within the Middle Office Core Platform Organization. You are a builder with a deep understanding of tools and technologies to develop products that deliver business outcomes and prioritize customer needs. You will be responsible for designing and programming modules or large components, and developing features.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Engage in technical discussions; participate in design and present ideas through whiteboarding.
• Collaborate with peers in a fast-paced technical design and development environment.
• Deliver tasks efficiently to meet product release goals.
• Maintain code quality through best practices, testing, and automation.
• Understand the entire product, its modules, and their interrelationships, becoming an expert in your assigned component.
• Assist in designing interfaces and information exchange between modules.
• Possess advanced domain knowledge with a strong customer focus. Be an expert in processes, methodologies, and build, release, and deployment processes.
• Understand scalability needs and the importance of quality improvement through testing.
• Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using appropriate technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or STEM majors.
