Job summary

SLR Consulting (US) seeks a Principal Scientist/Engineer/Geologist to lead growth and practice development in Bothell, WA. This is a growth-focused leadership role that will guide projects, cultivate client relationships, and mentor a high-performing team.

You will oversee investigations, remediation strategies, and regulatory approaches (MTCA, VCP, PLIA) while expanding the practice with new services and markets. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Bothell.

Qualifications

  • Typically 10–15 years of experience in environmental consulting, at or near principal level.
  • Strong technical background in site investigation and remediation (soil, groundwater, vapor, sediment).
  • Familiarity with Washington regulatory programs (MTCA, VCP, PLIA).
  • Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and contribute to business development.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to help grow a practice.

Responsibilities
