Job summary

Synopsys Inc in Sunnyvale, CA, seeks an experienced Emulation Solutions Engineer to deploy and debug ZeBu emulation platforms at customer sites, working with ASIC/SoC design teams to get systems up and running.

You will guide customers through virtual prototyping and physical FPGA options, translate complex issues into actionable fixes, and contribute to collateral and platform roadmap by sharing deployment learnings.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on emulation or prototyping experience on ASIC/SoC verification.
• Direct experience with hardware emulation platforms (ZeBu, Palladium, Veloce) including deployment and debugging.
• Strong debugging skills tracing issues across design, compile flows, and hardware.
• Experience with virtual prototyping and FPGA-based platforms.
• Excellent communication and customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and debug emulation solutions at customer sites with ASIC/SoC teams.
• Troubleshoot issues across emulation hardware, design, and mapping workflows.
• Provide pre-sales evaluations and post-sales support for ZeBu adoption.
• Recommend virtual prototyping vs FPGA-based platforms based on design needs.
• Create technical collateral and contribute to platform roadmap with deployment learnings.
• Manage multiple customer engagements and coordinate with team members.
