Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. seeks an experienced Embedded ML SW Architect (Principal/Director level) for Snapdragon Mobile in San Diego.

Qualifications

Bachelor/Master/PhD with 6+ years in HW/SW/Systems engineering or related field.
Experience with mobile AI/embedded ML on constrained devices and heterogeneous compute.
Strong communication and leadership in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Architect features for Snapdragon Mobile AI workloads under power, memory, and thermal constraints.
Research requirements and prototype on-device agentic experiences across CPU/GPU/NPU.
Design memory/state lifecycle management for on-device LLM/SLM serving and context caching.
Evaluate data movement and bandwidth to maximize AI throughput in mobile platforms.
Lead reviews and collaborate with partners to align on milestones and roadmaps.
