Job summary

Hubble Network is seeking an experienced Principal Embedded Engineer to architect and implement software for our satellite systems. This hands-on role collaborates with hardware, RF, and operations teams to build high-reliability embedded software for our constellation.

You will translate system requirements into robust embedded solutions across the stack, from drivers to flight software, while addressing space radiation, thermal, and power considerations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years delivering embedded systems for production hardware in high-reliability domains.
• Experience as a technical leader and mentor through hands-on collaboration.
• Strong command of C for embedded systems with memory management and RT constraints.
• Python scripting, automation, test frameworks, and ground system integration.
• Embedded Linux experience with kernel config and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-reliability embedded software for satellite systems.
• Lead hardware bring-up and validation with electrical engineers to verify designs.
• Create flight software with command/data handling and telemetry capabilities.
• Design and optimize drivers for SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet and peripherals.
• Collaborate across RF, digital, mechanical, and operations teams.
