Raytheon in Goleta, CA is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer - Test with 5+ years of experience. You will join the Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Directorate to design, develop, and integrate test solutions for Raytheon products onsite. This 100% onsite role requires a U.S.

security clearance (DoD Secret) and U.S. citizenship. The position emphasizes hands‑on multidisciplinary teamwork, rigorous technical, cost, and schedule management, and contributions across all stages of test product

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Eight (8) years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and five (5) years of relevant experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• Experience with electrical engineering design to include troubleshooting, analysis, and test.

Responsabilidades

• Design, development, and integrate Raytheon products within TEE in multidiscipline engineering teams.
• Develop both engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis.
• Contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development, and responsible for performing technical, cost and schedule management of assigned projects.
• Act, either as a part of the team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products.
