Job summary

Your IT Recruiter is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer for a client in Manhattan, NY. The role leads the Building Environments Group and provides technical leadership for complex electrical design projects.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of electrical engineering design experience, a PE license (LEED AP preferred), and strong skills in Revit, SKM and SAM. You will collaborate with clients, architects, and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering design for building services/construction.
• PE license or equivalent.
• LEED AP preferred.
• Experience delivering projects across sectors/regions.
• Familiarity with Revit, SKM, SAM for design and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for project teams and the wider Building Environments Group to achieve objectives.
• Mentor and coach engineers to foster innovation and effective delegation.
• Collaborate with clients, architects and team members to deliver world-class solutions.
• Oversee production of detailed design drawings, specifications, site observation reports, schedules and deliverables.
