Arconic Davenport Works is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Rolling Department in Davenport, IA. The role focuses on electrical systems integration with manufacturing, supporting production, maintenance, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 7 years experience as an electrical engineer.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience designing, installing, maintaining electromechanical systems.
• U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.
• ITAR compliance: U.S. person status required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of assigned area electrical engineering projects from concept to closure.
• Lead problem solving with multi-discipline staff, maintenance and production.
• Analyze process issues using PI Vision and Data Link to propose solutions.
• Create electrical control solutions to support process improvements and reliability.
• Assist production and maintenance with equipment and process issues.
• PLC/HMI design, and controls upgrades for existing processes.
• Install and troubleshoot camera systems on industrial equipment.
• Apply SMART Manufacturing principles to automated inspection systems.
• Mentor employees when needed.
• Primarily day shift with off-hours support as needed.
