Job summary

Arconic is seeking a senior electrical engineering leader for the Davenport, IA area to oversee the MTE group across global operations. The role focuses on reliability improvement, process optimization, and major capital projects within the Rolled Products group.

The incumbent will operate with high autonomy, guiding electrical engineering networks and cross-location teams. Responsibilities include setting safety and engineering standards, advising on control systems for rolling and finishing

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
15 years of electrical engineering experience in metals/heavy manufacturing.
Experience leading capital and expense projects in a factory environment.
Proficiency with AC/DC drive systems, motor applications and control systems.

Responsibilities

Lead the Arconic-wide Electrical Engineering Network and supervise MTE engineers/techs.
Own Corporate Electrical Standards and Electrical Safety.
Provide foundational expertise on controls for the metals industry and automation.
Support or lead problem solving for significant electrical downtime events.
Manage projects with potential high business impact and risk; require on-site support at locations.
