Job summary

Voyant Photonics is seeking a senior hardware engineer to architect and develop analog and mixed-signal electronics for compact LiDAR modules destined for scalable production.

You will own designs from concept through production, ensure signal integrity, power integrity and EMI/EMC compliance, and collaborate closely with system, mechanical and firmware teams to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in hands-on hardware development with end-to-end ownership.
• Deliver high-reliability designs under tight constraints on power, cost, form factor.
• Deep expertise in low-noise analog and high-speed digital design; SI/PI.
• Familiarity with high-volume DFM, reliability testing, and yield optimization.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop analog and mixed-signal electronics for compact, high-performance hardware modules.
• Own designs from concept through production, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Ensure signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC compliance across interfaces.
• Define and execute bring-up, characterization, and validation plans (DVT/EVT).
• Analyze design trade-offs for performance, cost, power, and integration.
