Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead electrical design across capital projects and facility upgrades. You will act as a SME, guiding cross-functional teams, establishing design standards, and mentoring engineers while working with key stakeholders.

The role includes responsibilities for commissioning support, design optimization, and collaboration with project managers to deliver safe, reliable power systems across our network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Experience with HV/MV/LV distribution and power plants.

Responsibilities

• Develop/Review/Approve electrical system design documents, including diagrams, calculations and specs.
• Lead design tasks for capital projects within budget and schedule.
• Provide SME design support to Project Managers and commissioning teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and standardize electrical design practices.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and cross-functional teams.
