Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.
• Experience developing and simulating RTL designs using VHDL and/or Verilog.
• Proven ability to design and execute verification testbenches for RTL blocks using VHDL and/or SystemVerilog.
• Knowledge of chip-level verification methodologies, including constrained-random testing and functional coverage.
• Experience with revision control systems like Git or Subversion.

Job Description:

Collins Aerospace, a leader in aerospace and defense technology, is seeking a Principal Electrical or Computer Engineer to join their Microelectronics Technology team in Cedar Rapids, IA. This role involves leading the design, implementation, and verification of advanced testbenches for high-performance digital ASICs and FPGAs, contributing to critical Mission Systems programs.

• Lead the design and verification of advanced testbenches for digital ASICs and FPGAs.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and scripting languages (C, C++, Python, Perl, shell).
• Experience with ASIC/FPGA simulation and synthesis tools such as QuestaSim, Synplify, Quartus, or Vivado.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
