Job summary

West Coast Solutions is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and development of advanced aerospace electronic systems. You will guide multidisciplinary teams through complex technical challenges from concept to production.

You will mentor engineers, perform rigorous trade studies, and drive design reviews while collaborating with customers and manufacturing to ensure robust, high-reliability hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of professional electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics.
• Proven track record from requirements to production.
• Strong system-level architecture and trade studies.
• Lead complex development efforts and architecture decisions.
• Excellent communication with multidisciplinary teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and development of advanced aerospace systems.
• Perform circuit analysis, simulation, and trade studies.
• Lead design reviews and critical engineering decisions.
• Support hardware integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Mentor engineering team members and guide career growth.
