The Undersea and Electronics Systems (UES) Department in Portsmouth, RI is seeking a Principal Ele ctrical Engineer with experience in analog, digital, mixed signal design as well as software development skills including embedded software and GUI tool development. The desired candidate has a current Secret clearance, is highly technical, and able to work with minimal oversight as well as the ability to manage projects.

Perform technical design in Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal, fiber-optic, FPGA, and software disciplines, including developing embedded software and GUI interfaces, while traveling as needed to customer sites and subcontractor facilities.
Experience working to program requirements and schedules to define project goals, scope, and deliverables. Monitor project progress, identify risks in sufficient time to implement mitigation strategies, and ensure the delivery of products meet performance requirements. Close management of design completion while simultaneously balancing resulting performance with the ability to meet the customer's critical schedule requirements.
Support regular reviews of program status including tracking and review by both Engineering and Program Leadership. Act as the primary point of contact for project updates, ensuring clear communication with Engineering and Program leadership.
Utilize extensive knowledge of hardware engineering capabilities to ensure successful technical execution.
Support cost estimating, management, and technical status for the execution of the capital project.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
