Medtronic’s Interventional Cardiac Therapies Renal Denervation business is looking for a **Principal** **Electrical Engineer** to be part of a high-performing team developing next-generation medical device capital equipment. In this role, you will apply electrical engineering expertise with a focus on IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60601-1-2 to support the design, development, characterization, integration testing, verification, validation, and lifecycle support of a next-generation Renal Denervation RF ablation generator. The work you do will impact patients globally and help support Medtronic’s mission of alleviating pain, restoring health, and extending life for millions.This role requires strong electrical engineering expertise, sound technical judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively across complex multidisciplinary product development. The Principal Electrical Engineer will apply knowledge of circuit card design, electrical engineering, requirements decomposition, risk management, and medical device safety and EMC expectations from early phase development through market release.The **Principal Electrical Engineer** will work with an experienced electrical engineering team on the electrical engineering aspects of a new capital equipment platform, with a primary focus on standards-informed design support, characterization, integration testing, verification, validation, and lifecycle support for a next-generation Renal Denervation RF ablation generator.
