Hunter Philips Executive Search is partnering with a leading data center platform to recruit a Principal Electrical System Architect for its USA portfolio. You will own electrical system architecture from concept through commissioning and operations for high-density compute environments.

The role demands 10+ years in electrical engineering for hyperscale facilities, deep MV/LV distribution knowledge, and a track record of delivering scalable, resilient power systems across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in hyperscale data centers or similar mission-critical infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in MV/LV distribution, substations, switchgear, transformers, UPS and gensets.
• Strong understanding of data center electrical topologies, resilience and redundancy philosophies.
• Proven ownership across design, construction, commissioning and operations.

Responsabilités

• Own electrical system architecture across next-generation data center developments from concept through commissioning and operations.
• Define critical power topology, system configuration, redundancy philosophy and electrical design criteria for high-density compute environments.
• Establish electrical standards, reference designs and engineering requirements deployed across the portfolio.
• Lead technical strategy across utility interface, MV/LV distribution, substations, transformers, switchgear, UPS, generators and critical power systems.
