Job summary

Gilder Search Group seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to design critical power systems for HPC and hyperscale data centers in New York City. You will lead multidisciplinary electrical design efforts, coordinate with vendors and utilities, and ensure reliability from concept through commissioning.

You should have 10-15+ years in electrical engineering, a PE is a plus, and hands-on experience with data center power distribution, UPS, generators, and switchgear. This is a senior, high-impact role.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) a plus.
• Experience with complex electrical systems for data centers, HPC, crypto, or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for data center power distribution and topologies.
• Coordinate electrical design with trades, contractors, and utilities.
• Develop conceptual designs and schematics for projects.
• Review electrical drawings, load studies, and protection schemes.
• Ensure designs meet reliability, commissioning, and long-term operations.
