Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Principal EDA R&D Engineer to pioneer the next generation of hardware formal verification tools. You will lead research, architecture, and development of core engines, and craft autonomous AI agent networks to extend formal tools across multi-billion-gate designs.

Qualifications

• Ph.D./Master's in CS, EE, or related quantitative field.
• 15+ years in R&D building EDA hardware verification tools.
• Expertise in bounded/unbounded model checking, abstract interpretation, and theorem proving.

Responsibilities

• Architect, construct, and advance formal verification algorithms (Model Checking, SAT/SMT, BDDs, EDA tools).
• Design multi-agent AI systems that analyze RTL topologies and tune solver parameters.
• Develop orchestration layers where autonomous agents collaborate to manage large designs.
• Create engines to generate System Verilog Assertions from natural language specifications.
• Drive features from research to production in high-performance C/C++ environments.
