Job summary

True Anomaly is seeking a Principal Digital Signal Processing Engineer to lead the architecture, development, implementation, and integration of advanced DSP capabilities for space-based RF payloads.

In this role you will develop real-time DSP algorithms across embedded processors, FPGAs, GPUs, and other flight computing platforms, working with RF, antenna, FPGA, software, hardware and systems engineers to meet stringent requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in digital signal processing or RF systems.
• Hands-on experience processing high-rate I/Q data from RF sensors or SDRs.
• Strong programming in C++, Python, and MATLAB; fixed-point & hardware-in-the-loop experience.

Responsibilities

• Define DSP architectures and roadmaps for RF payloads with verification strategies.
• Develop and implement real-time DSP algorithms for high-rate I/Q data.
• Design chains including downconversion, channelization, and spectral analysis.
• Create algorithms for detection, classification, and modulation recognition.
• Support phased-array processing, beamforming, and direction finding.
• Lead cross-functional execution across DSP, FPGA, RF, software, and systems teams.
