Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled, hands‑on, and detail-oriented Principal Design Engineer to drive the development of Nuvoton’s next‑generation Audio CODECs, Audio Amplifiers, and Audio SoC products. In this role, you will play a key part in the end‑to‑end digital design process, from chip‑and block‑level functional specifications to RTL design, FPGA implementation, synthesis, formal verification, and test pattern generation.

The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in digital IC design, a solid understanding of backend design flows, and proven experience in achieving timing closure to deliver high‑performance, reliable semiconductor solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and program manage digital marketing campaigns from inception to execution, collaborating with Nuvoton marketing, local sales teams, and corporate MARCO to ensure global brand alignment and maximum regional impact.
• End‑to‑end management of Nuvoton’s attendance at major industry expositions and trade show events—including booth strategy, logistics, messaging, promotional collateral, and post‑event lead generation tracking.
• Assist technical and product teams with publishing high‑value content, including white papers, marketing videos, and application notes, ensuring optimized visibility across various digital platforms and social media channels.
• Develop and execute comprehensive university engagement plans to build brand awareness, support academic programs, and cultivate future talent pipelines within the engineering community.
• Collaborate closely with Nuvoton’s distribution and sales network partners to coordinate co‑marketing initiatives and maximize Nuvoton's brand visibility across their respective digital platforms.
• Maintain a cohesive verbal identity and technical brand narrative. Author, edit, and curate marketing copy for localized websites, newsletters, and product launch packages.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

• MSEE with 10 + years of design experience is required.
• A track record of developing state of the art SoC solutions.
• Strong skills in Verilog based logic design and verification.
• Design experience with ARM processors and/or DSP cores is a plus.
• Understands MATLAB and DSP theories.
• Familiar with ASIC design flow and EDA tools for simulation, DFT and equivalence checking.
• Hands on experience with chip bring‑up, de‑bug and lab equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working within a multi‑national or matrixed corporate structure.
• Familiarity with video production coordination and digital publishing platforms.
