This Design Engineer Principal role sits on a multidisciplinary team responsible for developing, integrating, and delivering project engineering deliverables including drawings, specifications, product selections, installation sequencing, and commissioning scripts. You will access guides, perform short circuit calculations, and develop construction documents while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Ability to perform short circuit and overcurrent calculations.
• Medium voltage design experience and relays protection knowledge.
• Understand PLCs and ladder logic.
• Certifications: CEM, CPQ, LC, CLEP, DBIA, INCOSE.
• Software/tools: AutoCAD Inventor, Revit, ETAP, SKM, AGI32.

Responsibilities

• Access department guides and standards via the electrical engineering site.
• Assist in producing conceptual design through construction documents.
• Prepare simple electrical sketches, specs, and data sheets.
• Perform routine electrical calculations.
• Support design reviews and development of installation details.
• Use 2D CAD/BIM skills in project work.
• Develop Method of Procedures (MOP) and Sequence of Operations (SOP).
• Interpret equipment schedules and logic narratives.
• Estimate completion percentage of tasks.
