Job summary

M.C. Dean is a leading provider of cyber-physical solutions, delivering design, build, operate and maintain services for critical facilities in the United States.

As a Design Engineer, Associate, you will develop electrical designs, prepare diagrams, and assist in construction documents from voltage to low voltage systems. You will use 2D CAD/BIM tools, support installation sequencing, and participate in design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Medium voltage design experience preferred.
• Capable of short circuit and overcurrent calculations.
• Understand PLC and ladder logic; able to write control sequences.
• Familiar with building electrical design standards and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual design to construction documents for electrical systems.
• Prepare sketches, specifications and data sheets.
• Assist in design reviews and checks.
• Develop MOP and SOP to support construction execution.
