Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Principal Data Specialist Solutions Architect to craft scalable, resilient cloud architectures for enterprise customers. You will lead data lake projects and analytics initiatives integrating AI with services like EMR, Glue, Lake Formation, Athena, and SageMaker.

You will drive revenue growth with strategic customer engagements, educate teams, and mentor junior SAs while promoting AWS best practices across global financial services accounts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology domain experience including cloud computing, data analytics and architecture.
• Ability to evangelize end-to-end technology roadmaps and IT transformations toward cloud adoption.
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.

Responsibilities

• As a key account team member, partner with customers to accelerate business using AWS services.
• Formulate and execute cloud adoption strategies with strong stakeholder relationships.
• Become a trusted advisor with deep knowledge of AWS data and analytics services and best practices.
• Act as voice of the customer to AWS service teams and help shape platform enhancements.
• Educate customers through workshops and hands-on sessions demonstrating AWS capabilities.
• Mentor and onboard other SAs through builder programs.
