Job summary

Guardian seeks a Principal Solution Architect, Data to define and govern enterprise-wide data architectures, patterns, and guardrails across platforms and delivery teams. You will shape data platforms, data products, and AI-enabled capabilities for underwriting, enrollment, billing, and claims, partnering with business and technology stakeholders.

The role focuses on scalable, secure, and compliant data solutions, aligning with enterprise standards and governance while driving speed and reuse

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in data integration, data architecture, data modeling, data engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise technology.
• Experience designing and governing enterprise-scale solution architectures across multiple teams and domains.
• Strong understanding of modern data ecosystems, APIs, cloud platforms, data flows and AI-enabled data solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in regulated or risk-sensitive environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise-scale solution architecture strategy, standards, and patterns across platforms and domains.
• Drive adoption of architecture standards, reusable patterns, and reference architectures.
• Lead design decisions for high-impact initiatives spanning multiple value streams.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, Product, Security, and Platform teams to ensure scalable, resilient solutions.
