Job summary

BICP is a San Diego-based AI, Data & Analytics consultancy serving clients with forward deployed data science teams. The Principal Data Scientist will translate business challenges in apparel/retail into production-ready ML solutions and drive measurable impact.

You will collaborate with product, data and engineering teams to operationalize models, mentor junior scientists, and raise the technical bar across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive Data Science/ML experience with impact.
• Senior/Principal level experience in retail or consumer domains.
• Strong Python/SQL and modeling method selection.
• Experience deploying models in cloud/data platforms.
• Excellent communication with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of ML solutions across forecasting and consumer analytics.
• Develop predictive models for demand forecasting, inventory, and personalization.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate problems into DS opportunities.
• Coach junior data scientists and elevate technical standards across the team.
