Job summary

Brillio is seeking a Principal Data Scientist in Edison, NJ, to lead advanced analytics initiatives for Fortune 1000 clients. You will design and deploy scalable models and guide cross‑functional teams through the entire analytics lifecycle.

You will mentor junior data scientists, drive hypothesis testing, forecasting, and feature engineering, and ensure robust model evaluation and monitoring using modern ML frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience with hypothesis testing (T-Test, Z-Test).
• Expertise in regression (linear & logistic).
• Strong Python, PySpark, and R/R Studio skills.
• Hands-on with SAS and SPSS for statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of probabilistic graph models.
• Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Familiarity with model monitoring and deployment tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust statistical models and ML algorithms for large-scale data analysis.
• Lead end-to-end data science projects from hypothesis testing to forecasting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into analytics.
• Optimize data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and R.
• Develop and maintain probabilistic graph models and advanced statistics frameworks.
• Mentor junior data scientists and promote technical excellence.
