Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Principal Data Scientist to lead data efforts for Slack monetization on the Platform. You will guide analyses, partner with product teams, and shape datasets to capture how developers and users engage with Slack agents and the Platform.

You will work with GTM and product strategy to answer high-impact business questions, influence topline growth, and mentor teams toward execution excellence in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in product data science and leadership roles
• Proven ability to use data to influence product and business outcomes
• Strong programming and data manipulation skills in common DS languages

Responsibilities

• Establish partnerships with product and business stakeholders to identify opportunities and prioritize roadmaps
• Apply statistical methods and forecasting to understand customer behavior and GTM performance
• Design measurement strategies and success metrics for products, programs, and initiatives
• Frame and deliver analyses to identify opportunities for revenue and product growth
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to build trusted datasets and scalable analytics foundations
• Set a compelling vision and prioritize work based on product strategies and business goals
• Partner with product researchers and GTM stakeholders to influence topline decisions
