Job summary

Salesforce is hiring a Principal Data Scientist to lead data efforts for Slack monetization from the agentic platform perspective. You will partner with the Platform product org to improve developer and user experiences, unearth insights, and quantify what users build and how they engage with agents and with peers on the Slack platform.

You will work closely with GTM teams to answer high-impact business questions, set a clear vision, and mentor teammates for execution excellence while advancing

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product data science or related field.
• Experience leading teams or projects.
• Strong SQL and Python/R/Scala.
• Experience with large-scale data tech.
• Effective communicator to executives.
• Cross-functional collaboration with GTM.

Responsibilities

• Establish strong partnership with product and business stakeholders to identify opportunities and define execution.
• Apply statistical methods, experimentation and forecasting to understand behavior and growth drivers.
• Design measurement strategies and success metrics for products and initiatives.
• Frame and deliver deep-dive analyses to identify revenue and product opportunities.
• Partner with Data Engineering to build scalable datasets for modeling and experimentation.
• Set a compelling vision and prioritize work based on product strategies.
