Job summary

Natixis Investment Managers is seeking a Principal Data Scientist for the Boston, MA office. The role focuses on building AI-powered, scalable data solutions across Distribution Enablement, partnering with Sales, Marketing, and IT to deliver automated workflows and analytics.

You will lead multi-agent systems, develop production-ready data pipelines, and ensure governance and responsible use of AI across business processes. Hybrid work with in-office collaboration 3 days a week.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data science, analytics engineering, or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with version control using Git.
• Experience applying AI to automation pipelines with guardrails and responsible use.
• Experience implementing ML solutions including model development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Solid understanding of ML techniques, statistics, and data modeling concepts.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance and other teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Collaborate with IT on production deployments, data integration, and back-end infrastructure.
• Design and deploy AI-powered workflows and multi-agent systems for business processes.
• Develop and maintain data and analytics pipelines supporting dashboards and analytics.
• Monitor and optimize data processes for reliability and performance.
• Contribute to technical architecture, governance, and documentation for data, automation and AI.
