Job summary

ZoomInfo is hiring a Principal Infrastructure Architect to partner with the data engineering organization, shaping patterns for data workloads on GCP and cloud platforms. You’ll drive Terraform modules, CI/CD for data jobs, and cost-aware architecture while engaging in architecture reviews and hands-on enablement with engineering teams.

You’ll contribute deep expertise in cloud, Kubernetes, networking, and IaC, and demonstrate credibility with engineers running data systems at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10–15+ years of cloud infrastructure or data infrastructure engineering experience.
• Proven patterns and standards delivery across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish infrastructure patterns for data workloads and build Terraform modules.
• Define CI/CD and GitOps patterns for data pipelines and databases.
• Set performance, cost, observability, and DR patterns with FinOps alignment.
• Evaluate new technologies via POCs and structured comparisons.
• Serve as infrastructure consultant across data teams and participate in architecture reviews.
